The Route to Greenland project is an international project, taking part in multiple nations, including the Southern Arc Islands. The project's aim is to provide a transport route from North America to Greenland, with the least amount of ferry usage possible. The route starts in Newfoundland, goes through the Canadian Arc Islands before entering the Southern Arc Islands. In the Southern Arc Islands, several bridges have been constructed to aid this project. Currently, a bridge is under construction from the tip of North Island, over some sand-islets, to the south tip of Greenland, so a road can be constructed to Greenland's major settlements.
